The Pirates announced their minor league managers and coaching staffs over the weekend, featuring new skippers at their two top levels and returnees at Class A.
Former bench coach Chris Truby takes over at Triple-A Indianapolis after the promotion of Miguel Perez to the coaching staff in Pittsburgh. Eric Patterson was brought in as the bench coach, and pitching coaches Drew Benes and Cibney Bello, bullpen coach Joe Thatcher and hitting coach Eric Munson all return.
At Altoona, big league veteran player and coach Andy Fox is the new manager. He spent the last three years coaching with the Red Sox in Boston. Bench coach Gary Green returns to the Curve and there are three new coaches: Matt Ford is the new pitching coach and Scott Seabol and Casey Harms are the hitting coaches.
At High-A Greensboro, Blake Butler returns as manager and Jim Horner is back at Low-A Bradenton.
