GIRLS BASKETBALL
On senior night at Fifth Street Gym, Indiana crushed West Mifflin, 60-28. Four Indians hit double figures, led by Julia Antonacci with 17 points. Emily Betsinger had 13, Laken Kugler 11, and Addy Hutton 10.
SWIMMING

The Homer-Center Wildcat Swimmers traveled to Marion Center High School for a dual meet against the Stingrays. The meet was split with the girls losing and the boys winning their 9th meet of the season.
Despite the loss, the girls team won 5 events. Morgan Nagy earned first place in both the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Ava King won the 100 backstroke, and Vanessa Uher placed first in the 200 IM. The relay team of King, Nagy, Uher, and Danielle Uher won the 200-medley relay.
On the boys side, Homer-Center won all 11 events. Landon Shoup won the 500 freestyle and 200 IM. Dan Jones earned victories in both the 50 and 100 freestyle. Brady Frazer won the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Trevor Cameron won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. The boys also swept all three relays: the team of Cameron, Frazer, Shoup, and Oshen Maratita won the 200 medley relay; Carter Henry, Isaac Ditter, Frazer, and Jones took the 200 freestyle relay; and Maratita, Shoup, Jones, and Cameron finished first in the 400 freestyle relay.
Several Homer-Center swimmers had time drops. Bridget Uher dropped time for the third meet in a row on her 50 freestyle. Vanessa Uher dropped over 10 seconds in her 500 freestyle. Landon Shoup and Isaac Ditter both dropped time in the 200 IM. Our biggest time drop came from Oshen Maratita who dropped over 3 minutes in his 500 freestyle.
The Homer-Center Swim Team will participate in the Mark Hess Invitational on February 8 at IUP and then host their final dual meet of the season on February 11 where they will celebrate their graduating seniors.
