North Catholic tops Indiana, 1-0 in a shootout. Luke Rowe made 29 saves for Indiana.
WRESTLING
River Valley won its final regular season match against West Shamokin 52-12 on Tuesday night. Leading the way for the Panthers were Brody Houser, Michael Wano, Devin Blauser, Wyatt Taubler, and Joel Micklow, all with pins; Chase Stuchal with a major decision; and Tanner Flickinger, Brady Koffman, and Kira Watt with forfeits.
The Panthers finished the season with a 15-5 record and will compete in the District 6 Individual Wrestling Championship next Friday in Altoona.
RIFLE
Indiana lost to Armstrong 795-58x to 791-48x. Top shooters for Indiana were Ian Smeltz with a 100-7x, and Rylee Warfel with a 100-7x.
Indiana is 5-8 overall, 4-5 in Section 4. Next competition will be at home against Butler on February 6.
The JV beat Armstrong by a score of 388-20x to Armstrong’s 385-10x. Top shooter for IHS JV was Adam Kunkle with a 99-6x.
