ASSAULT/HARASSMENT
State police in Indiana are searching for a Homer City man accused of assault and harassment for an incident Monday evening.
Troopers responded to a home along Ondo Road in Center Township shortly before midnight as a domestic dispute turned physical when 57-year-old Clarence Shaffer allegedly punched his wife in the left ribcage, which caused some bruising. Shaffer fled in an unknown direction shortly after.
An arrest warrant was issued through District Judge Suzanne Steffee’s office.
THEFT
State police in Indiana are investigating a theft that happened in late October in Armstrong Township. Troopers say someone obtained several scrap vehicles from Tri County Transportation and Health Ride in Northern Cambria totaling $16,350 and failed to make the required payment for them.
The investigation is on-going.
