Indiana’s boys saw their season end with a WPIAL play-in game loss to Franklin Regional last night. Jake Slebodnick has the recap.
Homer-Center lost to Punxsutawney, 62-48, with the Chucks putting up 20 points in both of the middle two quarters. Max Voyda led the Wildcats with 26 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Penns Manor’s girls trounced Tyrone, 62-33, led by Alyssa Altemus with 21 points and 10 rebounds, Allie Mumau’s 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Josslyn Bennett’s 10 points. The Comets head into the District 6 playoffs at 20-4.

Indiana High hosts Moon tonight in a WPIAL 5A first round playoff game at Fifth Street Gym. Airtime is 6:45, tipoff at 7 on WDAD.
D6 TOURNAMENTS
The District 6 wrestling tournament begins this morning at the Altoona Fieldhouse.
The District 6 basketball tournament brackets are scheduled to be released before noon today.
