Barbara J. Vetula, 90, formerly of Homer City, died February 12, 2025, at Laurelview Village. She was the daughter of the late Lynn and Emma Jane (Pardee) Bathhurst and was born on April 27, 1934, in Indiana, PA.
Barbara was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Homer City, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and served on the council. She also served on the apple dumpling committee for many, many years. She worked at Park n Shop until she retired.
She is survived by her son Mark and his wife, Trish, of Homer City; her daughter Lori and her husband, Bill Caldwell, of Johnstown; her granddaughter Michele Vetula and her grandson Zach Poole; and her great-grandchildren JoElla Clymer, Landon, Liam, and Lane Poole.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P., and her sisters, Patty Houck, Janice Fenton, and Cheryl Rayko Knopick.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., in Homer City.
