The Indiana Area school board will meet tomorrow night, with an agenda that includes several items having to do with building upgrades and improvements. In addition to receiving an update on the Eisenhower Elementary School project, with the purchase of $163,000 worth of equipment and materials, the board will vote on a motion to approve a new Junior High School roof, an estimated expense of $716,050.
Several new policies, including one on the use of artificial intelligence, and a few personnel items are also on the agenda.
Marion Center’s board will vote tomorrow on a motion to approve the ARIN Intermediate Unit’s budget, of which Marion Center’s share will be $45,656. There are also motions to approve a district business manager contract for Lou Palilla, the hiring of coaches for spring sports, and several policy revisions dealing with the use of the internet.
