People in Lucernemines are waking up without power, but this is due to a planned outage from Penelec.
The utility company is working on installing a new utility pole in the area, and to do so, the lines need to be de-energized. The outage will run until 3:00 this afternoon. It was originally scheduled for last Friday, but crews were still busy making repairs from the severe wind storms that knocked power out to thousands of customers in the western PA region.
