BASEBALL
Indiana fell behind 2-0 in the first inning but scored 4 runs in the second and 3 in both the third and fourth innings to wipe out Highlands, 12-2. Caden Force was 2-for-2 with a double, Mark Collinger added a triple, and Greg Minnick got the win on the mound as Indiana remained undefeated at 5-0, 1-0 in the Section with the second game of the home-and-away series at Highlands today.
SOFTBALL
Indiana plated two runs in the bottom of the seventh but came up one short in a 7-6 loss to Greensburg Salem. Alle Scarpa struck out 16 Indiana batters. Indiana’s Rylin Blystone had three hits and Maggie Cunningham had a triple and a home run. Kaylee Cass also homered for Indiana.
BOYS LACROSSE
Indiana crushed Freeport 14-4 as Garrett Goodrich scored eight goals and Parker Bowersox three in a Section 2 win.
