Mary Ellen (Duncan) Miller, 92, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Lynn Haven Personal Care Home, Black Lick, PA.
The daughter of Arthur and Vernie (Howard) Duncan, she was born April 14, 1932, in Black Lick, PA.
Mary Ellen worked as a seamstress at Fours Co., Blairsville until her retirement.
She loved going to yard sales and shopping, but most of all loved spending time with her family.
Surviving is her son, Mark Miller (Peggy) of Lucernmines; her daughter, Tammy Blattenberger (Fred) of Black Lick; two grandchildren, Brandon (Danielle) and Eric (Stephanie); three great grandchildren, Emily, Hudson, and Owen; and her great-great grandson, Jaxson Liller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 48 years, Ronald G. Miller on December 21, 2003, her son, Ronald Eugene Miller on July 13, 2014, three brothers, Clarence Duncan, Leroy Duncan, and Arthur Duncan, six sisters, Lilly Duncan, Pearl Stitt, Velma Deemer, Sally Buzzinotti, Ethel Bailey, and Nora Jean Krouse.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville with Pastor Josh Reid officiating.
