Paramedics and Homer City fire officials were on the scene of an accident involving dirt bikes in Lucernemines on Sunday.
The accident was reported by Indiana County 911 near East 8th Street at 6:08 PM. Several people were riding their motorcycles when a 16-year-old girl went down the embankment and was hurt. Homer City fire chief Terry Gardner said that they had to use a backboard and basket to bring her up over the hill.
The injuries were described as non-life-threatening. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Her identity was not released.
