Indiana county’s first responders had another busy day on Thursday.
At 10:11 AM, Indiana Fire Association members were sent to Wida Road in Rayne Township for a miscellaneous call. Officials said a tow-behind air compressor caught fire and after trying to put it out themselves, the driver called 911 for assistance. The compressor was a total loss, but no other property was damaged and no one was hurt.
Commodore and Pine Township fire departments were sent out for a lines down call on Elm Road in Green Township at 1:15 in the afternoon.
Two vehicle accidents were reported on Thursday as well. The first was at 10:30 last night on Mulligan Hill Road in West Wheatfield Township. Clyde and New Florence Fire departments went to the scene. Three minutes later, Perry Township firefighters were called to Route 210 in North Mahoning Township for the other crash.
