After the storms on Tuesday, first responders remained busy on Wednesday with 10 calls for utility lines down among other incidents.
The lines were reported down in Conemaugh, South Mahoning, Center, Montgomery, and Young Townships along with Saltsburg and Homer City Boroughs. That also included a call for assistance to Clearfield County.
Other calls reported included a vehicle crash at 8:19 AM on Route 422 in White Township that sent Indiana Fire Association members out along with Citizens Ambulance and State Police. Indiana crews were also sent to Oakridge Drive in White Township along with Citizens’ EMS for a carbon monoxide alarm at 10:28. A vehicle accident was also reported at 11:10 AM for Indiana firefighters on Wayne Avenue, and their final call of the day was an Automatic Fire Alarm activation at 8:55 PM on Wayne Avenue in White Township.
