Kenneth Romo Arduini, 82, of Clune, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. Born in Coal Run on January 20, 1943, he was the son of the late Romo and Pauline (Mihalov) Arduini. Ken graduated from Elders Ridge High School in 1960, then enlisted in the US Army where he was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division.
Ken worked for Robertshaw Industries for several years and then for the R&P Coal Company until his retirement in 1997. He loved his garden, especially growing garlic, and with his big heart, gave it all away. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, word search puzzles, scratch off tickets, and watching Judge Judy.
A member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, the United Mine Workers Local 488, as well as the Saltsburg American Legion, he was a founding member of the C&Y Sportsman’s Club.
Surviving Ken is his wife of 59 years, Flora (Poso) Arduini; daughters Laura Marie (Michael) Rebovich, of Wilcox, PA, Karen Ann (Andy Lazeration) Turnbull, of Clune, Lynda (Jeff) Zinkham, of Indiana, and Dr. Tina Lynn (Michael Shank) Arduini, of Big Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren William (Erin Smyers) Rebovich, Calvin (Shee Nah) Rebovich, Jonathan (Emily Gregory) Turnbull, Cady and Finn Shank; great granddaughter Caretta Smyers; sister Kathy Stossel; sister-in-law Gladys Smith; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, in the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11 AM in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 100 Good Shepherd Drive, Jacksonville, PA 15752, with Rev. Fr. Dino Laude as celebrant. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
