The week has been a busy one for Indiana County’s first responders, including multiple calls today.
Four vehicle accidents were reported over the last 24 hours, including two accidents in Pine Township. One was on Route 403 North at 8:49 AM and the second at 1:47 PM on Route 422 East. Pine and Cherryhill Township fire companies were sent out both times along with State Police and Citizens’ Ambulance. The third crash was at 11:42 PM on Newport Road in Conemaugh Township. Tunnelton and Saltsburg fire departments were sent out. And at 12:33 this morning, Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were sent to a crash on North Walnut Street in Blairsville Borough.
A structure fire was reported on Weiss Road in Young Township. Iselin/West Lebanon, Coal Run/McIntyre, Elderton, Saltsburg, Tunnelton and Kiski Township fire companies were sent out along with Citizens’ Ambulance and the Hazmat team were sent out at 3:10 yesterday.
