Homer-Center scored three runs in the first inning and held off Kiski Prep Saturday , 3-2. Four Wildcats pitchers struck out a total of ten batters and Braden Rado made two great defensive plays to stop rallies. Nate Birchall, Collin Dunn, Dom Shimko and Noah Turk each had two hits.
Homer-Center is 14-4, (11-3 in the Heritage Conference) and will play its Senior Day game against Marion Center on Tuesday at First Commonwealth Bank Field (4:15 airtime on Renda Digital TV.)
