William T. Shulick, 84 of Blairsville, PA, died on Friday, May 2, 2025, at his home.  The son of Michael T. and Suzanne C. Shulick, he was born November 16, 1940.
Mr. Shulick graduated from Blairsville High School. He attended Washington & Jefferson College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He was a practicing attorney, for over 50 years.  Bill maintained his office in Blairsville, joining Attorney Ralph L. Gessler in partnership in 1968.  He was sole practitioner after Mr. Gessler’s death in 1982. Bill was a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Indiana County Bar Association. Prior to that, he was a member of the United States Army serving on active duty from 1966 to 1968.  He served as a battalion staff officer with the 8th Army Long Line Battalion and the United States Army Strategic Communication Command in the Republic of South Korea.
Mr. Shulick served on the Advisory Board of the Homer City State Bank and S&T Bank for many years. He was involved in the establishment and running of three scholarship funds including the Benz Foundation, Robert Lintner Fund and the Thelma C. Smith Fund which provided scholarships and financial assistance to students in the Blairsville Area.  He also served on the Bork Family Fund Committee which provided grants for Indiana County.  Mr. Shulick was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Black Lick, PA.
Surviving are various cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael T. Shulick.
The family will receive friend at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 2-8 PM.  A parastas service will be held in the funeral home at 7 PM on Wednesday.  Additional visitation will be held Thursday from 8:30 AM-9:30 AM.  A panachida service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 AM prior to a burial service at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Black Lick, PA at 10 AM with Hieromonk Alexis officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery with graveside military rites by members of US Army and the Blairsville Military Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 785 Blair Road, Blairsville, PA 15717.
