A hearing for a staffer at a Bolivar-based alternative education school accused of showing sexually explicit images to students in her care was postponed.
39-year-old Samantha Jamison of Marion Center was due for a preliminary arraignment yesterday morning on two counts each of displaying explicit sexual material to minors, harassment and corruption of minors along with a single count of tampering with evidence and criminal attempt to that charge. The investigation goes back to October of last year, when she allegedly showed inappropriate pictures of herself to two boys in her custody while she was at the Outside-In school, a residential alternative education school for young boys who are there through court orders or through Children and Youth Services. The incident happened while one of the boys was at an area hospital. Police said a similar situation happened with a second boy at a MedExpress. State troopers seized her cell phone and found the images in a recently deleted folder.
Another attempt at the arraignment is scheduled for June 23rd at 1 PM.
