Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday, Jr. has reported that more than 400 illegal gambling machines were seized in raids across Western Pennsylvania, including two locations in Indiana County.
Felony corrupt organizations charges were filed against Buffalo Skills Games, Inc. and J.J. Amusement, Inc., which are owned and operated by John F. Conley, who had prior federal convictions for illegal gambling. Sunday said that the machines were essentially slot machines dressed as legal skill games and were placed at various locations across the commonwealth.
Included on that list were the 777 Game Room in Burrell Township and Lucky Billiards in Center Township, along with The Music Studio in Rayburn Township, Armstrong County and Woodpeckers Pub and Grub in Upper Burrell Township, Westmoreland County.
Locations in 12 western PA counties were raided as part of the probe.
