While most of the plea and sentencing hearings on the Indiana County Court schedule today involve either drug- or DUI-related charges, there are two other cases on the docket dealing with other crimes.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for 8:30 this morning for 23-year-old Carrigan Lee Beecher of Leechburg. He pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking for an incident in July of last year. He was facing other charges including forgery, access device fraud, receiving stolen property and six counts of identity theft, but those charges were not prosecuted.
Also due in court today is Broc Marche of Brockway, who pleaded guilty to a single count of terroristic threats. Other terroristic threats charges, along with counts of harassment and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted.
