Indiana County First Responders had a busy day on Friday with a few different calls for service.
An automatic fire alarm was reported at the United Presbyterian Church on North Walnut Street in Blairsville at 8:40 in the morning. While Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were dispatched, the call was a false alarm.
There were two times firefighters were called out to assist EMTs. The first was at 2:41 PM on Grove Chapel Road in Rayne Township that brought Creekside firefighters out. The second was at 7:20 PM on Park Drive in Young Township. Coal Run/McIntyre fire departments were sent out at the time.
A vehicle accident was reported on King Hill Road in Center Township at 8:26 PM. Indiana and Aultman fire departments, Citizens Ambulance and State Police were dispatched at the time. Details on the crash have not yet been released.
