Sentencing hearings were held yesterday in Indiana County Court.
Judge Gina Force handed down a sentence for 23-year-old Carrigan Beecher for a guilty plea to a charge of theft by unlawful taking. He was facing other charges including forgery, access device fraud, receiving stolen property and six counts of identity theft, but those charges were not prosecuted. For the theft charge, he was ordered to serve two years of probation along with 45 days of house arrest.
Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco also ordered 25-year-old Broc Marche of Brockway to serve two years of probation with three consecutive months of house arrest for a guilty plea to a charge of terroristic threats. A second terroristic threats charge, along with counts of harassment and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted.
