Neil Clever Lydick, 83, of Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana.
He was born December 20, 1941 to George Frederick and Mildred (Clever) Lydick in Dayton, Indiana County.
Neil was the ultimate father and grandfather known mostly as “Papa Frank” and loved his family above all else. Neil and his wife Bonnie could be found at every grandchild’s sporting and music event. He was an avid fan of the Steeler’s Penguins and Pirates and old-time country music. He was slightly obsessed with his number fill-in books, putting homemade sticker initials on everything he owned, plastic canvas projects, model cars, puzzles and his pulse ox monitor. Neil didn’t have an enemy. In this world, loved by all that knew him, and had a smile that would light up the room.
He is survived by his children, Tracy Wahler (Richard), Inman, SC, Randy Lydick (Deb), Las Vegas, NV, Doug Lydick (Fran), Indiana, Jaci Yeomans (Don) Home, Grandchildren Cory Mills, Gregory Lydick, Carissa Rigdon, Brittany Ryen, Camden Lydick, Chelsea Schaeffer, Cassidy Lydick, Megan Lydick-Mendiola, Owen Lydick, Allison Yeomans, Taylor Wahler and Cameron Wahler, as well as eight great grandchildren, a brother-in-law John “Jack” Young, Rural Valley, and Darleen Keene, Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bonnie (Young) Lydick in 2014, an infant son Bradley Lydick, two brothers Leslie and Keith Lydick, three sisters Alice Deeb, Marilyn Walters-Drunkenmiller, Cheryl Gandolfi, In-laws Robert Russell Young and Dorothy Emerick Young as well as numerous other relatives.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 N., Indiana, PA 15801.
