A woman charged in connection with a crash in 2019 was sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco ordered 44-year-old Shaylena Daniels of Home to serve between three days to six months in Indiana County Jail for a guilty plea to driving under the influence. As she already spent that much time in jail, she was paroled immediately. She is also responsible for fines and court costs connected with the crash in the afternoon of August 29th, 2019. Her car went through the East Pike intersection, crossed the center line of Philadelphia Street crashed into a home in the 100 block. The home’s occupant, Jessica Hicks, was not hurt.
