IUP golf coach Dan Braun has added Zaiden Dennis to the team. He’s IUP’s third recruit from Springbank Community High School in Calgary, Alberta, alongside Guillermo Salazar and Jon Vinge.
Dennis finished twelfth overall at the World Stars Junior Golf Championship in Las Vegas and first at the Alberta Maple Lead Junior tour Order of Merit. According to an IUP release, Dennis had two individual wins and three runner-up finishes on the prestigious Maple Leaf Jr. Tour in 2024.
Overall, he posted six finishes in the top five and eight finishes in the top 10 for the year. His low round of 65 came at the Edge Summer School Classic, one of seven rounds of 70 or lower during the 2024 competitive season.
He will begin his academic career at IUP this fall.
