The Altoona Curve beat the Erie Seawolves last night 4-1.
Kervin Pichardo hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning. Brenden Dixon had two hits and a walk. Po-Yu Chen went four and two-thirds innings, allowing the only run of the game for Erie, and scattered five hits and struck out six.
The two teams play again tonight. Allesandro Ercolani will start for the Curve, while Garrett Burhenn will start for Erie.
