Unfortunately, MORE RAIN is on the way this afternoon and evening. Those areas that have received significant rainfall over the last couple of days will be at heightened risk for flash flooding today.
The focus for heaviest rainfall with scattered thunderstorms this afternoon will be generally for the Pittsburgh metro and areas to the south. Isolated heavy rain and flash flooding may still occur outside of this region, however, and a marginal to slight risk for excessive rainfall remains in effect today.
