It will be an active week for Indiana County’s school boards.
Purchase Line’s board will vote on a $22.4 million final budget, with property taxes holding steady thanks to the use of about $706,000 to bring the plan into balance. There will also be votes on policy revisions, personnel items including the hiring of coaches for boys and girls basketball and girls volleyball, a host of personnel decisions and agreements and contracts for the upcoming school year.
Marion Center’s board will hold a work session on Monday.
Indiana Area’s Policy & Personnel and Buildings, Grounds, and Transportation Committee meet Monday night with discussion of policy updates, a number of work projects, and solar at the high school.
United’s school board will meet on Tuesday. Homer-Center’s board meets on Wednesday. River Valley’s board will hold a committee meeting on Wednesday.
