The Penguins have signed forward Joona Koppanen to a one-year contract with a salary cap hit of $775,000. He played mostly for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season, where he scored eight goals with twenty-three assists. He appeared in eleven games with the Penguins, scoring one goal.

Sam Reinhart scored four goals last night in a 5-1 Cup-clinching win for Panthers, who win the series 4-2. Sam Bennett was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player of the postseason.
