The Pennsylvania Game Commission announced hunting licenses will go on sale this Monday.
Like in recent years, antlerless deer licenses will be available when license sales start on June 23rd, but all Pennsylvania residents are guaranteed to get an antlerless license for the wildlife management unit of their choice, provided that it is bought by 7 AM on July 14th, when the sales open up to people outside the state. At that point, it’s first-come first-served. The second round of antlerless sales will be July 28th, with round 3 on August 11th and round four will start August 25th.
The new license year begins July 1, at which time 2024-25 hunting and fur taker licenses, as well as mentored permits and other permits and privileges, will expire and new licenses will be needed.
Hunters can purchase the licenses through the Game Commission’s website, HuntFish.pa.gov. Those interested can also check in on the number of remaining licenses on the website.
