Lines will be installed along several highways in Buffington, Cherryhill, Pine, Green, and Blacklick townships, starting tomorrow with Route 422 to Iverson Road in Blacklick Township. That work will wrap up July 22nd.
The crews will run new water lines from Route 403 to School Road in Cherryhill Township between July 22nd and August 11th, followed by Route 403 to Cameron Bottom Road in Cherryhill Township from August 11th through January 5th, and finally from Route 580 at the Penns Manor school complex through Cherryhill, Green, and Pine townships to Uniontown from January 26th through June 23rd of 2027.
The work will be done by Shadco and Ferri Contracting, and could involve traffic delays.
ARMSTRONG COUNTY
There is a pipe replacement project getting underway tomorrow and lasting until July 23rd along Route 85 in Rural Valley, and it will result in the closure of one of the busy highway’s two lanes of travel, with an eleven-foot width restriction on all vehicles. The work will be performed in daylight hours on weekdays and Saturdays as needed, with flaggers controlling traffic.
The $8.1 million project involving multiple roads and locations is scheduled for completion in early November.
