D2football.com reports today that Lackawanna College and Peirce College have agreed to merge, become a four-year institution, and join the PSAC, where it would become the 18th school in the conference, which includes IUP.
PSAC Commissioner Steve Murray reportedly confirmed that an 18th school will join conference. The official announcement could come as early as tomorrow.
The new school would compete in the PSAC East, with Lock Haven switching back to the West.
