Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN yesterday that expects to retire after the coming NFL season. He says it’s the ideal way and the right time to go out.
Rodgers says Pittsburgh is the perfect team to join for his final season.
The 41-year-old played eighteen seasons in Green Bay and two with the New York Jets. He told McAfee he’s been in weekly communication with Mike Tomlin this offseason, even before he signed. Next week he will work out with some of his new Steelers receivers in California.
Training camp begins in Latrobe on July 24th.
