PennDOT is reminding drivers of some projects that will be in Armstrong and Indiana Counties starting July 7th.
Starting that day and going through the 21st, milling and paving operations will take place on Route 56 between Balsinger Road and Lebanon Road. Then from the 21st to August 4th, crews will work between Route 422 and the Indiana-Armstrong County Line. Work will take place on weekdays during the daylight hours and on Saturdays as needed. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and motorists should expect delays in those areas. This is part of multiple paving projects, which will wrap up in early November
Derry Construction out of Latrobe will perform the work. The project will cost $8.1 million.
