Altoona won five of their six games in Chesapeake, beating the Baysox 6-4 yesterday. Mike Jarvis had two doubles and drove in three runs for the Curve. Wilbur Dotel gave up all four runs in two-and-two-thirds innings pitched, but the Curve bullpen of Tyler Samaniego, Bradon Bidois, Beau Burrows, and Wilken Ramos shut down the Baysox the rest of the way. In the series, the bullpen threw 27-and-two-thirds innings and gave up just one earned run.
The Curve have an abbreviated three-game home series with Harrisburg, starting tomorrow.
