Thomas Leroy Bowman, 68, of Aultman, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at his home.
Born January 12, 1957, in Indiana, he was the son of the late Samuel Norwood Bowman and Alice Marie (Smith) Bowman.
Tom was a graduate of Homer City High School, class of 1974, and went on to earn an associate degree in business. He worked as a case worker for the Indiana County Assistance Office, retiring with 32.5 years of dedicated service.
Tom had an extensive list of hobbies to include woodworking, coin collecting, fishing, antiquing, collecting memorabilia from all three Pittsburgh teams, restoring classic cars, especially his prized Camaro, motorcycling, fishing, and golfing. In his younger years, he also enjoyed bowling and served as an umpire for the softball league. Tom was also an active member of the Mannitto Golf Club in New Alexandria.
He leaves behind his children, Joseph J. Bowman of Mt. Lebanon, Mollee M. (Nick) Burnash of Roseville, MI, and Sarah S. (Kristin Shaffer) Bowman of Clarion; two grandchildren, Trevor Bowman and Harper Hicks; a brother, Samuel L. (Connie) Bowman of Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a brother, William J. Bowman.
Family and friends will be received from 4 – 7 pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, as well as Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am, in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, 500 Ben Franklin Road S, Indiana. Interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery
