A Blairsville man was sentenced yesterday in connection with three cases, including one where he was accused of stalking and attempted burglary.
In that case against 25-year-old Levi T. Kelly of the New Derry area, he was ordered to serve five months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail for stalking, while the attempted burglary charge brought a sentence of 34 to 68 months in state prison and two years of probation upon his release. Blairsville police said that he tried to enter a home on North Morrow Street through a window on June 29th of 2024. The person living there said they had a PFA order against him and he fled on foot when police arrived. He was apprehended a short time later.
Kelly was sentenced in two other cases. In one, he pleaded guilty to stalking and false imprisonment for an incident on June 13th of last year. He was ordered to serve up to a day less than two years in county jail for each count. The third case was a plea to a charge of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image. He was sentenced to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and two years of probation.
All the sentences will run concurrently.
