Nancy Mae (Sharp) Butchkoski, 79, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at her home.
The daughter of Clair Sharp and Dorothy (Henry) Sharp, she was born on May 1, 1946, in Conemaugh Township, PA.
Nancy graduated from Saltsburg High School, Class of 1964. She married Ronald E. Butchkoski on September 12, 1970, and together they shared 55 years of happy marriage.
She was a member of Bethel Church in Indiana. During her life, she worked mainly as a dedicated homemaker, raising two children.
She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Nancy loved attending her grandchildren’s events and being present for all of their activities.
Surviving is her husband Ronald; her two children, Stacey Smith (Douglas) of Blairsville and Brenda Romasco (Brian) of Greensburg; sister-in-law Dorothy Sharp of Blairsville; five grandchildren, Kylie Mattis (Chad), Nicole Smith (fiancé Tyler Robbins), Alyssa Faith (Zack), Allison Romasco, and Marcus Romasco; and five great grandchildren Mila, Ivy, Archer, Raelyn, and Theo.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roy Sharp and Robert Sharp; and sister, Marie Jezewski.
A visitation will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc. 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM with Pastor Terry Semsick officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Indiana on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
