Pirates Charities yesterday announced the second-round recipients of their Fields for Kids grants, and two of them are from Indiana County.
The Clymer Little League will be receiving funds to replace three sets of bleachers and continue restoration of the playing surface after last summer’s flood.
Purchase Line School District was awarded a matching grant to assist with infield resurfacing and dugout repairs.
Also, Derry Area School District will get matching funds for a batting cage project.
The final round of this year’s Field for Kids grants will be announced next week.
