The Penguins are swinging a trade for a struggling defenseman. The team acquired Matt Dumba from the Dallas Stars on Thursday in exchange for Vladislav Kolyachonok and a 2028 second-round pick. Dumba had just one goal and nine assists in 63 games last season.
The 30-year-old was a healthy scratch in the playoffs after signing a two-year, seven-and-a-half-million dollar deal last offseason.
