Troopers are searching for a missing Seward man.
Jason Alan Mesler, 49, of Seward Borough, Westmoreland County, was reported missing after he left a family member’s residence along Kanouff Street in Center Township, Indiana County this morning and has not returned.
Mesler, who is believed to be on foot, was last seen at approximately 4:00 a.m. at the Kanouff Street residence. Troopers do not suspect foul play.
With assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police Aviation Patrol Unit and the Pennsylvania Game Commission, an area canvass was conducted with negative results.
Mesler is described as a white, non-Hispanic male, 5’09” tall, approximately 160 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. Mesler does wear glasses; however, his clothing description is unknown.
Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact 911.
