Gary L Patterson of Indiana Pa passed away July 10, 2025, at the age of 78.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Helen (Reyes) Patterson.
Gary has three sons Gary “Del” Patterson (wife Missy), Robert Patterson (wife Michelle), Dean Patterson (wife Tricia) and three grandchildren Hannah Hocker (husband Zach), Garrett, and Logan Patterson.
Gary and Helen have two great grandchildren Hardie Hocker and Rhys Hocker.
Gary was preceded in death by his father Gourley Patterson and mother Geraldine Patterson, brothers John Patterson and Wilbur Patterson, sisters Gwen Adams and Beverly Myket.
Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Loved his family and was always proud of their accomplishments. He was always asking “How someone is doing” wanting to keep up with everyone’s lives and then bragging to everyone he talked to after.
Gary served in the US Navy stationed in China Lake, Ca. He worked as a coal miner for Helvetia Coal Company, and Console Energy prior to his retirement in 1992.
Services will be a private grave side service with immediate family only and have been entrusted to the care of the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
