First responders had to return to the Eastern Orthodox Complex in Cherryhill Township as a fire rekindled yesterday afternoon.
The fire was first reported at 6:42 AM on Friday by Indiana County 911 and sent six fire departments along with the county Rapid Intervention Team and Citizen’s Ambulance. No injuries were reported at the time. Crews remained on scene for several hours putting out hot spots.
Cherryhill, Commodore and Clymer fire departments returned to the scene at 2:30 in the afternoon as the fire rekindled.
State police fire marshals were called in to investigate.
