Trump White House reportedly growing increasingly frustrated with Netanyahu

White House officials are reportedly upset with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after his strikes on Syria. One official told Axios that Netanyahu, “Acted like a madman.” Ronen Bergman, staff writer for The New York Times Magazine, joins “The Takeout” with analysis.

Raising Property Taxes

For a variety of reasons, many school districts are raising property taxes this year.  What’s to blame?

Inflation overall. Everything is more expensive, including running schools.
The state does not provide enough funds to local districts, especially those with low property values.
Charter school funding. I am already paying for my local district, but now I am paying for charter schools, too.
The cost of personnel. Wages, health insurance, pensions, and more are all going up.
School districts are not spending their resources wisely.
The whole school funding system in Pennsylvania is wrong. The system is broken.
