Preliminary hearings are scheduled today for Indiana County’s District Courts.
One hearing is for a man who faces two counts each of simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct-fighting. Court documents show 42-year-old Brian Rummel of Dilltown is charged in connection with an investigation that started April 23rd.
Also due in court today is 18-year-old Shawn Matthew Marsh, Jr. of Butler. He faces two counts each of receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking along with possession of a firearm that had the manufacturer’s number altered and possession of a small amount of marijuana. The incident was reported on November 17th of last year.
Both hearings are scheduled to be held in District Judge Susanne Steffee’s office.
