Preliminary hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County, including one for a Blairsville man charged in two separate cases.
In one incident, 58-year-old Joseph Zemba faces charges of strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment for an incident on June 11th. The second incident is from two days later, where he was charged with evading arrest, flight to avoid apprehension and resisting arrest. He has been free after a bondsman posted $5000 bail.
Also due in court today is 30-year-old Katelyn Stevens of Latrobe, who faces three counts of retail theft and single counts of false identification to law enforcement and obstruction of the law for an incident in December of last year.
All three cases are slated to go before District Judge Robert Bell, Sr.
