The street paving work continues in Indiana Borough this week, and there is work scheduled in White Township as well.
The ongoing work on Philadelphia Street from 9th Street to East Pike in Indiana and on South 6th Street from Carter Avenue to Philadelphia Street will involve patching and resurfacing each evening from 8 PM to 6 AM, with corresponding parking restrictions, and, finally, a new coating of asphalt.
Meanwhile, work will begin on Rose Street from Wayne Avenue to Oakland Avenue starting next Monday, August 4th.
The paving project on Route 56 in Armstrong Township is nearing completion. PennDOT estimates it will wrap up by next Monday between Route 422 and the Indiana/Armstrong County line.
The water line replacement project involving multiple roadways continues this week from Route 403 to School Road in Cherryhill Township. That will last through August 11th.
In White Township, a comparatively light schedule this week includes stormwater pipe replacement along Barclay Road, catch basin repairs at Country Lane and Barclay Road, and repairs on Zehner Road.
