William John (Bill) Beilchick, 84, of Northern Cambria, PA, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, under the care of David and Tina Beilchick, Susie Beilchick, and 365 Hospice.
He was the son of John and Susie (Poliyak) Beilchick, born on June 12, 1941, in Pine Township, PA.
Bill was in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Bragg for two years, then served two years in Greenland. After discharge, Bill worked on the family beef farm and later for Beilchick Brothers Strip Mines in Heilwood, PA, alongside his brothers, father, uncles, and cousins. Bill was a life member of the American Legion for over 50 years and served as commander at the Heilwood Post 936 until it closed. He was a life member of Heilwood Sportsman’s Club. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Spangler/Alverda, PA. Bill was a loving husband to Angela Chiominto for 56 years. After losing his wife, Bill made two promises to hold onto: seeing his first great-grandson born and his granddaughter getting married on May 24, 2025. Bill enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandbabies and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by four children: Susie Beilchick at home, David and Tina Beilchick on the family farm, Joseph and Denise Beilchick of Twin Rocks, PA., Melissa Beilchick and John Saxon of Alverda, PA., four grandchildren, Shawnee Beilchick and Travis Leber of Markleysburg, PA., Tonya and Martin Veneskey of Twin Rocks, PA., Logan and Lily Saxon of Alverda, PA, two great-grandchildren, Harper and Lincoln Leber of Markleysburg, PA., and brother, Jack Beilchick on the family farm in Heilwood, PA and many nieces, nephew and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Angeline, father and mother-in-law, Albert and Margaret Chiominto, brother, George Beilchick Sr., four brothers-in-law, Albert, Joseph, And, and Philip Chiominto, two sisters-in-law, Sharon Beilchick and Sandra Chiominto, and cousin, Ronald Beilchick.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 2 to 6 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer. Bill’s Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, with military honors.
