The Altoona Curve evened their six game series with the Portland Sea Dogs thanks to a 2-1 victory last night.
Starter Dominic Perachi threw five scoreless innings for the Curve as he returned from the injured list. He racked up four strikeouts and needed only 70 pitches to work through his start. Jase Bowen had two hits, including the go-ahead single in the seventh inning that brought home Esmerlyn Valdez, and Omar Alfonzo scored on a wild pitch in the same frame.
The two teams play again tonight, with Wilber Dotel starting for the Curve
