The Altoona Curve erased a 3-0 deficit to beat the Hartford Yard Goats 6-5 Tuesday night at PNG Field.
Mitch Jebb tallied four hits on the night, while Sammy Siani added three others as part of a 13-hit night for the Curve. Nick Cimillo had a solo homer over the batter’s eye in Center Field, while Omar Alfonzo, Jebb, Kervin Pichardo and Tres Gonzalez each picked up RBI’s. Po-Yu Chen went three innings, giving up three runs, but got a no-decision. Emmanuel Chapman picked up the win in relief in 2 and two-thirds innings of work, striking out six. Wilkin Ramos picked up the save. The two teams will play again tonight. Antwone Kelly will start for the Curve.
